A Message from Dr. Marfurt

It is with mixed emotions that I am announcing my retirement as of January 3, 2025.

It is hard to believe that it was 35 years ago three idealistic pediatricians embarked on a journey of starting their own practice. There have been many changes over the years but through it all the goal to provide the best care to my patients has been the top priority.

I would like to thank all of you for giving me the honor of sharing your most prized possessions. The trust you have bestowed on me to provide your children’s care has been humbling. I have been blessed with being able to meet so many great families and those relationships are what I am going to truly miss.

One of the things that makes this transition easier is knowing I am leaving you in the capable hands of providers that I have had the pleasure to mentor over the years. It is reassuring to know they all have the same goal of providing you with best care possible for your children.

As I start this next chapter in my life know that the memories of all of you will last forever!

Due to a severe nurse shortage, we are introducing same-day sick online scheduling via our website for both Suburban and Alden Pediatrics.

Ongoing concerns will need to be addressed with a nurse by calling our office at 716-565-9030 option 2.

Flu Vaccines Now Available

We are now making appointments for our Flu Clinics scheduled for Saturday, September 23, 30 and October 7, 2023 from 8:00AM – 11:30AM. Please call our office at 716-565-9030, option 3 to schedule your appointment.

A Farewell Message from Dr. McNally

Dear patients and parents,

After careful consideration and soul searching, it is with mixed emotions that I must announce my retirement from Suburban Pediatrics, effective immediately. Although I did not want health issues to dictate my retirement, things have not worked out and alas I am not able to return as I had hoped.

For those of you who were waiting to see if I could return, please go ahead and schedule with one of the other excellent providers in our practice. Suburban Pediatrics strives to provide the best pediatric care in Western New York and I am proud of what we have built.

It has been my great pleasure caring for the children in our community over the past 35 years (Wow I’m old!) . I wish you all the very best of health and good fortune in the future.

COVID-19 Protocols

Due to COVID-19, for the health and safety of our patients and staff, please note our new office protocol.

1. Masks must be worn by all entering the building age 2 and over.

2. If a mask is not worn we will ask you to leave the building and call to reschedule.

3. Punctuality to appointment is important as we are working to eliminate the time spent in common areas.

4. We ask that you do not come to the office without a scheduled appointment.
